Location

 Mt. Etna is located in Sicily, Italy near the cities of Messina and Catania. Mt. Etna covers 1,190 km² (460 sq mi). There are many farms both on and around Mt. Etna. The lava from Mt. Etna's erruptions provide ideal soil for farming. Mt. Etna also attracts alot of tourists. The area around Mt. Etna is a national park. Orchards and vineyards cover the lower slopes of the Mt. Etna. The Plain of Catania is to Mt. Etna's south. On the southeastern side of Mt. Etna there is a giant gully called the Valle del Bove. It is between 2000-4000 ft (600-1200 m) deep and over 3 miles (5 km) wide. There are some smaller peaks on the slopes of Mt. Etna, and some caverns. Species of oak and stone pine,birch and beech cover much of Mt. Etna's surface. Broom plant and other shrubs cover parts of the Mt. Etna, especially at lower altitudes. The Alcantara Gorge is located on the Alcantara River north of Mount Etna. This rock formation was made by Etna's erruptions. There are many roads that go into the park around Etna,  a railway line from Catania, and bus service from Catania. There are many different hiking trails that go up to Mt. Etna. Here are two examples; "Monte Nero degli Zappini Nature Trail. This trail offers a view of some of the typical natural settings of the area. It starts from Piano Vetore, which is not far from the Grande Albergo dell'Etna. There are many shops and restaurants around Mount Etna dedicated to tourists."
To use google maps on weebly you go to the elements tab then click on multimedia, click the google maps icon and then drag it down to where you want it on the page. Next, you click the icon and the map will show up on your page. To use it, type the location into the toolbar that will appear above the map, choose your length, width, ect. Hit enter and you're done.
